# Aquanaut 5167 QC: the embossed dial, the tropical strap and the case profile

Checklist for an Aquanaut 5167 QC, in order of what matters most:

1. **Dial pattern** : depth, clean edges up to the numerals and date, gradient. Ask for daylight and angled-light photos.
2. **Strap** : pattern that echoes the dial, no gap at the case, fold-over clasp closing flat. Stiffness is normal at first.
3. **Case profile** : one side photo. Thickness and the soft octagon are where proportions show.
4. **Numerals and hands** : applied numerals straight and evenly lumed, hands reaching their tracks.
5. **Date** : centred in its window.
6. **Movement** : through the caseback, what you see should match the listing. It’s a decoration check, not a quality guarantee.
