# VSF Panerai Luminor QC: crown guard, sandwich dial and case height, what matters?

VSF Luminor QC, in this order:

1. **Crown guard:** side photo at 3 o’clock, lever closed and open. Flush, equal gaps, engraving centred.
2. **Sandwich dial:** macro of the 9 and the 12. Clean cut edges, no lume on the top plate.
3. **Date at 3:** centred and straight, ideally as a short video with several dates.
4. **Size and height:** check the reference number, then a caliper photo against the official dimensions. Known deviations exist.
5. **Functions:** open the guard, pull the crown, quickset and, if present, the power reserve indicator.
6. **Case:** even brushing, clean transition to the polished bezel.
