# Golden Goose QC: deliberate wear, the star and the heel, how do you judge a pair that's already "aged"?

Golden Goose QC checklist:

1. **Wear:** uneven, heavier at the toe and heel, soft transitions. A uniform band all around = flaw. Compare with the same colourway.
2. **Star:** five even points, fine texture (glitter), correct position.
3. **Heel:** sharp logo print, heel tab well placed.
4. **Leather:** same shade on all panels and on both shoes. The rest depends on the light.
5. **Profile:** both shoes at the same height.
6. **After delivery:** don’t clean the sole.
