# Yeezy 350 V2 reps: is "half a size up" still the rule, or do some batches fit TTS now?

Sizing question that’s older than some of the batches: **350 V2, half size up or TTS?**

Every thread I read says “.5 up”, then someone in the replies says theirs fit TTS and the half up was swimming. Feels like a coin toss with extra steps. Is there an actual rule here or just vibes?

There’s a rule, it just has a footnote! 😄

**Shape:** the retail 350 V2 is a snug shoe. The Primeknit hugs the foot and the toe box is narrow. That’s why “half up” became the default advice for retail in the first place.

**Reps:** most reports say reps fit like retail or slightly tighter, so the same half-up logic carries over.

**The footnote:** some batches have been described as roomier than others, and people with narrow feet report TTS working fine on those.

So the rule is “half up, unless it isn’t”. Love it. 🙃

Mind if I help with numbers? “Half up” is only a starting point. What really counts is **foot length in cm** and **width**.

| Foot type | Most common advice in the threads |
| --- | --- |
| narrow | TTS can work, especially on roomier batches |
| normal | ½ size up |
| wide | ½ to 1 full size up |

If you have wide feet and go TTS, you’ll feel the tight forefoot after a few hours.

</div>

Wait, can I ask a rookie question? What does “Primeknit hugs the foot” mean for sizing? Like does the knit stretch out over time so TTS would be fine later? 🤔

</div>

A little, yes. Knit gives a bit over time, but the length doesn’t change. If your toes hit the front, no amount of breaking in will help. It’s the same with leather, by the way: width gives, length doesn’t.

</div>

Exactly. Knit forgives width a little, never length. So if you’re between sizes, the length decides, not the hope that it’ll “break in”.

Ok, follow-up: does the sole matter? I keep seeing “real boost” vs “fake boost” and people saying the lower-tier ones feel dead.

</div>

Comfort, not size. Separate question. The common description: real Boost compresses and springs back, while lower-grade foams squash and stay flat, and some people say the lower-tier ones hurt after a full day. Other reports say top-tier pairs feel close to retail. Either way, it won’t change which size you need.

Okay, here’s the version I’d put in the wiki:

**1. Anchor to retail 350 V2, not your general sneaker size.** If you’ve worn a retail pair, use that size. If not, start from your usual Nike/Adidas size.

**2. Default: half a size up.** That’s the most common recommendation across years of threads, because retail runs snug and reps tend to fit the same or slightly tighter.

**3. Adjust for your foot:**

- Narrow feet → TTS is reported to work, especially on batches described as roomier.
- Wide feet → half to a full size up. The narrow toe box is the pinch point.

**4. Knit stretches in width, not length.** Don’t size down hoping it’ll “give”.

**5. Check the pair, not just the size.** Ask for a top-down QC photo of both shoes side by side to compare length and toe box shape.

[[PHOTO: top-down view of a pair of 350 V2s side by side showing toe box width and overall length]]

**6. Comfort is a separate question.** Midsole feel varies by tier. Read recent in-hand reviews of the batch for that, not sizing threads.

If you’re still unsure, post your foot length in cm and your size in one retail Adidas model. That’s enough for us to give a real answer.

Value score for this answer: 5/5. Marking it. And noted on the foot length in cm, that’s way more useful than me saying “I’m a 10 in most stuff”.

Exactly. And please measure barefoot, in the evening, on both feet. The longer foot decides.

Adding the history here, since this is where people land with the half-up question. 📚 Where the “half size up” rule actually came from:

| Early report | What it said |
| --- | --- |
| Early PK sizing threads | mostly TTS; some said PK pairs ran about ½ size larger than retail |
| A review of the “Oreo” colourway | TTS too tight, go at least ½ up |
| A review of the ES batch “Oreo” | TTS fit perfectly |
| An early batch-by-batch sizing guide | separate notes per batch, not one rule |

Same colourway, different batch, opposite answer. So “half up” was never a law. It became the shortcut because it’s the safer miss for wide feet and the tighter batches: a pair that’s a little long is wearable, a pair that’s too short isn’t.

What has held up is the method in the accepted answer above: foot length and width in cm, the batch’s own size chart, and in-hand reviews of that specific batch.

One wide-feet tip from the old threads: put both shoes top-down on a sheet of paper next to an outline of your foot. It shows the narrow toe area better than any description.
