The Dior B30 is everywhere this season!
There’s already a B22 thread here, so: what do reviews say about the B30? Sizing, comfort, and those reflective details everyone keeps mentioning?
Sizing first: most reviews say TTS, but with batch variation. One review found a 44 fitting like a 43.5. Another reviewer took a size larger than their Jordan 4 size and was happy. So TTS is the start, then read the batch.
Reflective details are the main QC point. Reports say newer batches get the reflective CD and heel details right, while older batches had wrong reflection, including on the tongue. Check with a flash photo.
A flash photo rather than natural light? That’s counter-intuitive, I love it. ![]()
For reflective parts, yes. Without flash they look grey. With flash you see whether the right areas light up, and how evenly.
On comfort: the reports differ. Some batches are described as comfortable, others as firm with little cushioning. That’s usually down to the midsole and the insole, not the upper.
Materials check: the B30 mixes mesh and technical fabrics. Flag fraying edges, glue marks along the mesh and uneven panel joins. They show up in close-ups.
Is the B30 easier or harder to QC than the B22? The B22 thread here was so long lol
Fewer layers than the B22, so fewer stitching points. The reflective parts are the extra step.
B30 review summary:
Sizing: TTS as the starting point. Check recent reviews of the exact batch; some run slightly small.
Comfort: batch-dependent. Some reported plush, others firm. If comfort matters, read in-hand reviews after a few weeks of wear, not unboxing posts. The long-term reviews thread explains why.
QC order
- Shape: side profile and top-down. Noticeable.
- Reflective details: flash photo of the CD logo, heel and tongue. Deal-breaker if the wrong areas reflect or don’t reflect.
- Materials: clean mesh edges, no fraying, no glue on the mesh. Minor to noticeable.
- Logo placement and stitching. Minor.
Post a photo taken with flash so it’s clear which logo and heel areas reflect.
Care: mesh and technical fabric clean best with a soft brush and mild foam, no soaking.
Great summary! And style-wise: the B30 with loose technical trousers, does that work, or is it too “sporty”?
Works. Wide nylon pants, slight break on the shoe. Keep the top simple. ![]()
Marking it, thank you! Flash photo for the reflective bits is going straight into my QC notes. ![]()
