No QC thread for the P-6000 yet. What Nike’s official page says: the P-6000 mixes elements from several older Pegasus models, in the running style of the years just after 2000, with breathable textiles and foam cushioning.
The style is close to the Vomero 5, which already has its QC thread. On the P-6000 the upper is made of many overlays, so QC is mostly about how they line up.

Newbie question: the mesh looks a bit uneven in some photos. Is that a flaw?
Not necessarily. Mesh changes appearance with the light and the angle. What matters:
- An even weave, with no pulled threads or holes.
- The mesh edges neatly tucked under the overlays.
- The same shade on both shoes, seen in daylight and in the same photo.
The foam midsole. In photos:
- The bonding line with the upper continuous, with no gap or smear.
- The moulded details of the sole crisp, not rounded or mushy.
- The same height and the same shape on both shoes, seen side by side in profile.

The swoosh and the heel. The swoosh placed at the same height on both shoes, with a crisp tip. At the heel: logo straight, heel counter symmetrical in a photo from behind. For what you can fix yourself, like a thread sticking out, see sneaker flaws you can fix at home.
So: the overlays in profile, the mesh in daylight, both soles side by side and the heel from behind. And for reading photos in general?
Summary:
- Overlays: the same line on both shoes, even stitching, no glue.
- Mesh: even weave, edges neatly tucked, the same shade on both shoes.
- Foam sole: continuous bonding, crisp details, the same shape on both sides.
- Swoosh and heel: same height, crisp tip, symmetrical heel counter.

Thanks. Both soles side by side is the first photo I’d ask for.
